Isaiah 54: 5-7

I am the Lord, and there is no other;
    apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
    though you have not acknowledged me,
so that from the rising of the sun
    to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
    I am the Lord, and there is no other.
I form the light and create darkness,
    I bring prosperity and create disaster;
    I, the Lord, do all these things.

This are such cool verses describing the One who made you and me! "...I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me..." God is so good to love us... even when we didn't and don't always acknowledge him. "...I form the light and create darkness..." Wow! Powerful doesn't even begin to describe God!!

Psalm 3

O Lord, how many are my foes!
    Many are rising against me;
many are saying of my soul,
     there is no salvation for him in God.       Selah

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
    my glory, and the lifter of my head.
I cried aloud to the Lord,
    and he answered me from his holy hill.       Selah

I lay down and slept;
    I woke again, for the Lord sustained me.
I will not be afraid of many thousands of people
    who have set themselves against me all around.
Arise, O Lord!
    Save me, O my God!
For you strike all my enemies on the cheek;
    you break the teeth of the wicked.
Salvation belongs to the Lord;
    your blessing be on your people!        Selah

I love this picture <3

Much Love,

Powerful God

"Yet God is my King from of old, who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth." Psalm 74:12

God is working and is good...now to just to preach that to myself on a day to day basis. I need to believe that my God is powerful and working and pray that I would believe it. =)

Sorry! I've been quite busy lately! I'm gonna try and remember now! haha

Joshua 1:8

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8

 I am currently reading though the Bible slowly, and I am finding so many little nuggets that I have missed before. That is how I found this verse(: It is just exciting to see what I will find, discover, or be reminded of each time I dig into my Bible. I hope this verse encourages you to read the Bible daily and I hope it gets you excited as well!

I'm writing to say I'm sorry for the lack of posts this last couple weeks.
i and my contributors have been very busy.
hopefully things will pick up again soon.
i am on vacation and will be back the 26th.
see you then.

in the mean time,
here is this verse;

       And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
                                 “Great and amazing are your deeds,
                                                                                                   O Lord God the Almighty!
                                     Just and true are your ways,
                                                                                                       O King of the nations!
                                        Who will not fear, O Lord,
                                                                                                     and glorify your name?
                                         For you alone are holy.
                                                                                                       All nations will come
                                                                                                               and worship you,
                          for your righteous acts have been revealed.”
                                              Revelation 15:3-4

                                                  Much Love,

Romans 5:1-6

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. ( you and me!) Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I found this verse so amazing(: We have been given a undeserved privilege( being able to be right with God and sharing in His glory).!!!!!!!

1 Samuel 2:1-10

And Hannah prayed and said,

“My heart exults in the Lord;
     my horn is exalted in the Lord.
My mouth derides my enemies,
    because I rejoice in your salvation.
“There is none holy like the Lord:
    for there is none besides you;
    there is no rock like our God.
Talk no more so very proudly,
    let not arrogance come from your mouth;
for the Lord is a God of knowledge,
    and by him actions are weighed.
 The bows of the mighty are broken,
    but the feeble bind on strength.
Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread,
    but those who were hungry have ceased to hunger.
The barren has borne seven,
     but she who has many children is forlorn.
The Lord kills and brings to life;
    he brings down to Sheol and raises up.
The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
     he brings low and he exalts.
He raises up the poor from the dust;
    he lifts the needy from the ash heap
to make them sit with princes
    and inherit a seat of honor.
For the pillars of the earth are the Lord's,
    and on them he has set the world.
“He will guard the feet of his faithful ones,
    but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness,
    for not by might shall a man prevail.
The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces;
     against them he will thunder in heaven.
The Lord will judge the ends of the earth;
    he will give strength to his king
     and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

she said this after God gave her the child she asked for.

Much Love,

Psalm 148

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights!
Praise him, all his angels;
praise him, all his hosts!
Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars!
Praise him, you highest heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord!
For he commanded and they were created.
And he established them forever and ever;
he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all deeps,
fire and hail, snow and mist,
stormy wind fulfilling his word!
Mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars!
Beasts and all livestock,
creeping things and flying birds!
Kings of the earth and all peoples,
princes and all rulers of the earth!
Young men and maidens together,
old men and children!
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for his name alone is exalted;
his majesty is above earth and heaven.
He has raised up a horn for his people,
praise for all his saints,
for the people of Israel who are near to him.
Praise the Lord!

Ecclesiastes 8:10-13

Then I saw the wicked buried. They used to go in and out of the holy place and were praised in the city where they had done such things. This also is vanity.   Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.  Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him.  But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

Much Love,

(p.s. sorry for the sparse posts this week.
i dunno what happened to my contributors)

James 1:12-13

 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will recive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1: 12-13

For those of you who fight temptation, which I believe is everyone(: I found this very encouraging. Don't give into that temptation. Fight it. Isn't it cool that God gives us temptations(which are to strengthens us) and then rewards us when we are faithful and do not give into them? The reward? Eternal life with him!!! I hope this verse encourages you to keep fighting to do what is right even though at times it is hard.

Proverbs 3:11-12

My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline
    or be weary of his reproof,
 for the Lord reproves him whom he loves,
    as a father the son in whom he delights.

This verse was so comforting.
i feel like God has been constantly disciplining me.
its so hard.
its been so hard lately.

but. i think its been good

and its so good to know that He does it because He loves me!
I love my God.
because He first loved me. <3

Much Love,
